I am a powerful black woman. I am an important part of this world. My voice is here to be heard. My words are valuable. I am here to help others to also understand their worth and potential. I am here to drive unity. Together we will bridge the inequality gap and the change will be honest and sustainable.
Everyday I repeat these affirmations. The word affirmation comes from the Latin word affirmare, originally meaning “to make steady, strengthen“. The more we repeat our affirmations, the more they manifest into reality. My name is Dionne and I have created this blog to give myself a platform to share my thoughts and experiences to bring people together. There is so many things that drive us apart, but there’s more that brings us together.
Some of the content will be uncomfortable to read, and some of us will need to recognise our privileges, however uniting people in an equal world will see a benefit for all, especially future generations. They’ll be humour and goodwill throughout as well as love and laughter on this journey! We are faithfully in this together. Yes, you are receiving the message from a black woman, but there is something for every person in all of my content.
