Racial Glossary of terms

Google has been a good friend of mine when it’s come to searching for the meaning of the many new words I’ve come across in the past few months.

I thought about putting together a Glossary of terms to help anyone looking to make sense of the important dialogues taking place in this unstoppable BLM era. In my search, I quickly came across Racial Equity Tools. They are an organisation that supports individuals and groups working to achieve racial equity. Their site offers tools, research, tips, curricula and ideas for people who want to increase their own understanding and to help those working toward justice at every level – in systems, organisations, communities and the culture at large.

Their site also provides a very comprehensive glossary in an attempt to achieve a degree of shared understanding of the most frequently used words in any discussion on race.
